We are used to politicians using ambiguous language. In particular, when they make policies in favor of a minority or a small minority. They express themselves so that a large majority can agree.

Donald Trump however oversteps the limited power of his office and his role in democracy when attacking democratic values, the rights and respect of minorities, and stirring up citizens against imaginary scapegoats and made-up enemies.
